We went to go walk around but you know with kids how that ends up. First you take off there shoes and socks. Then you roll up the pants a little then before you know it they have almost their entire pants wet.
Nothing like a big jacket at the Beach.

Disneyland
My grandmother turned 90 today so this last weekend they had a HUGE party for her in California. She was so excited she said she had a hard time sleeping.
Growing up I always went to Disneyland and I couldn't wait to carry that special place on with my children. My mom was awesome and watched Macey the whole day for us to we could spend this special time with Caden.
Caden did pretty good with the rides he didn't know a lot of the characters because he doesn't watch the old school movies, mainly pixar. California Adventure probably would have been good but we didn't have much time. His fear kicked in but he was tall enough to ride majority so the Matterhorn was a little pushing it but he did it. No Space Mountain for him.
It was a great day together with everyone. We went from 9-8. LONG day.
WARNING** Major picture overload
These are the pre-Disneyland pictures. Can you feel the anticipation?
Carrie and Caden
Caden and Mommy on the tram car that takes you to the park
Us minus Macey; gosh darn this could have been our Christmas pic
Caden, Chase(Caden's cousin) and me waiting for Dumbo
Eric and Caden
My dad and Chase
My Niece Paige and I on Dumbo, purple Dumbo
My brother Bruce on the teacups. It was a fun warm fuzzy experience riding rides with my brother, it brought me back to the early days. Side note, almost threw up on teacups.
Autopia-where they drive the cars. caden said it was his favorite ride.
They had this really cool Jedi Training(Caden is really into Star Wars that he learned from his good buddys Cade and Carter from Georgia) They randomly selected and Chase got picked not Caden. He was a little upset but we introduced Chase to the Jedi World. And Grandpa came in and saved the day with Blue Light Sabers for both boys.
Star Tours, Caden was amazed with the ride.
Eric and Caden flying the rockets into Space
Carrie and Chase flying their Rocket
My Dad was exhausted(Long day traveling before). So while Paige was waiting to see the Princess's my dad took a breather in the princess dress up area. Can you tell he wasn't happy with me taking this picture of him.
The guys being goofy while we waited for the princess's. Caden scooted around to where the princess's were and got hit on by Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Milan and Jasmine and all he did was hide behind me.

A Little Bling
Eric and I decided to get our sweet Macey's ears pierced. Eric started to chicken out as we pulled up to the mall, but got over as we got closer to the store. After filling out the paper work and signing away any liability Claire's could have we got down to business. Eric had to sit in the chair and hold Macey's arms down and her head back. It took longer than usual because the girl who was going to do it, was training some other people. We decided to get Macey some cubic zirconias instead of the little daisys that they suggested. Macey loves diamonds already. The piercing was quick and painful. Macey screamed pretty loud while the lady was doing it, but was over it in a few minutes. She looks amazing and isn't having any problems with them. She was a beautiful girl before and now loves to accessorize herself.

6 years
Six wonderful years have gone by so quickly. We decided to go out and celebrate for a little. Eric wouldn't tell me where he was planning on taking me. We started driving down town and I knew exactly where we were going. Eric took me to the Melting Pot. He had flowers waiting for me on the table and insisted that I bring in my presents. After a few minutes a couple sat across the from us and wished me a Happy Birthday. Apparently my sweet husband forgot to check the wrapping paper before he wrapped my presents. We explained the mix up and they wished us both a Happy Anniversary. The food was great as usual. The Melting Pot is an amazing place to celebrate an amazing marriage. The presents were pretty good too.
