Outdoor Soccer

We started Caden up again with outdoor soccer and he has loved it. Last time he was tired of it and I think partly excited when the season ended. Now he can't wait to play and practice. He is so into sports. He has had a great coach and a good team. Me and Macey have loved cheering on and it gets cooler outside.

We are right next to a National Guard Air Base and they have flyovers all the time. The kids all stop and stare mid game.

I sure love this kid.

He's number 10. In the mixof all the kids. West Jordan Rec is awesome they give you socks, shorts and jersey. Awesome.

Boating

Mel and Jason go boating and fishing a lot and let us tag along with them. We've been twice with them this summer. Once we went to Jordanal and got in the water and the second time we went to Deer Creek for Mel's birthday.

Macey was a trooper she actually feel asleep in my arms in the boat. We stayed there for awhile so she could sleep. it was quite heavenly.

Chris is a little pro and has been going his whole life. He instantly gets up on the wakeboard ski's with one. It's sickening.

State Fair

We decided to take a day trip down the the Utah State Fair. Eric spent most of his life going to the Iowa State Fair so he is a bit of a fair snob. It was a beautiful day to be outside. It was sunny and just breezy enough to keep you cool. Caden was super excited and Macey, well Macey was Macey (just excited to go anywhere). Caden had a blast, he sat in a Humvee, rode a pony, played a few games and we even got to watch an exciting Sea Lion show. All in all it was a great fair experience and quite entertaining. We stopped into the DNR building to look at some animals and only found two cute shrimp, or whatever the nasty stuff in the Salt Lake is.

Our last picture at the fair was seeing how scary we looked for Halloween. Caden was so exhausted he wanted to ride in the stroller on the way to the car. Caden makes a great vampire and Maceyy a beautiful witch.

We saw some ponies and realized it had been awhile since he had ridden a horse, but when we told him he could be a cowboy like Grandpa Larry he was ready to ride. We paid $4, but it was worth it. The people who owned the ponies were really nice.

Caden got to ride the mighty steed Storm. As you can tell this horse could only be tamed by a 4 year old.

Caden had a blast on the pony and we got to hear a yee haw as he rode past.

We pushed on to see some livestock and they were all sheering their sheep for the 4H competition. Caden got to pet one of the sheep and a goat. He wanted to pet a cow, but they wouldn't let us.

I took a picture of these pigs because they were enjoying a nap and spooning. Nothing beats spooning pigs.

We found a pig sleeping and decided to pet his nose. He didn't seem to care and Caden found out how hard a pig's nose really is.

Macey turns 1

Macey turns 1. The year has flown like a speedy wonderful rollar coaster. She is a sweet little girl but super fiesty at times. Caden and her are so cute together. We had taken away her bottle and pacifier by her birthday and that day I looked in her mouth and found she was cutting 4 teeth. So she didnt have a a very big smile but was happy.

I love dressing her it is so fun! And she is so good about letting me do her hair.

Macey was spoiled by family near and far. My sister got her a baby with a stroller, she was nervous at first but loves it now. She loves babies and will hold and kiss them.

She's probably wondering why I stripped her down. Cant ruin her pretty party dress with cake.
