So, I made a quick video of nothing special, just Caden doing his little monkey tricks. I know most of you have seen him recently, but there is family out there who have not. So, those who care to watch enjoy! And sorry I was stupid when recording and decided to hold the camera sideways, thinking I'll just flip it, when they watch it, like a picture, duh! I'm dumb, I know.

Okay?
I think these picture turned out okay, we're not going for professional or anything, but I like them and think that this little kid is turning into quite the little charmer

Darn it
I want to be crafty! Not just any crafty but the kind that is ecletic, colorful and have it comes so natural, crafty. Do you know what I'm talking about? That nothing is lined up or in order but it looks comfy, amazing and artsy all at the same time. I'm done complaining. I found a cool new blog, it's about this crafty group of girls, so fun, artsy, crafty....love and envy.

Delicious
So, out of total boredom Caden and I made a new recipe of cookies and I have to say, these cookies are absolutely delicious! Chewy, moist, easy and did I say delicious? Here's the recipe:
Oatmeal Cookies
Large Batch
2 c butter-do not subsitute with margarine
2 tsp baking soda
2 c brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 c sugar
1 tsp. Nutmeg
4 eggs
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp vanilla
6 c. Instant Oats
3 c flour
2 c. Raisins or Choc Chips
Heat oven to 350.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs & vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg & salt. Then add in your oats & raisins or chips. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
I halved it and used chocolate chips! Also very important I cooked them for 10 minutes and they burnt, so I cooked them for 6 minutes and they turned out great! So, first batch watch closely!
Enjoy!

My future so bright, I got to wear shades...
My husband Eric is totally a hero.....
So, yesterday he was doing his thing at work watching the privates eat chow and all the sudden he notice's one private who looks like he is choking, he goes over there, pushes the privates around this individual aside and as this private is turning blue Eric started the Heimlich maneuver and totally saved this kids life, and his response, "it was highly motivating" So there you go a little more ump to keep him going. Awesome though, right?

Randomness but greatness
These two pictures are rarities:
A) Caden sleeping on a Airplane
B) Eric and I on a airplane together
Here are some more pictures from Utah:
Chase does all the work around the Meyer residence, he's always pulling the kids around while the parents just sit there drinking and smoking!
Caden loved my parents neighbor's dog, he would just hang out at the fence all the time chatting it up with the dog, I'm not sure if the dog loved Caden or if Caden drove the dog crazy?
Here is the lovely new couple, just outside the temple. Aren't they cute?
The Wenzebauer Family, they are so good at taking pics, I think they practice with there kids at home
It doesn't matter how much I practice taking pictures with Eric he still can't figure out how to keep his eyes open! But isn't he so hott! Who doesn't love a man in a uniform?
Carrie working the red satin

We're back
After being gone for a little over three weeks, Caden and I are back. It's good to be back to our home and back with Eric, well we aren't really with him very much since he's in total control, but at least I have someone to sleep next to at night. Utah was a blast, but every time I'm there I'm so lame when it comes to taking pictures, so when everyone is curious enough to send the pics they took, I will post. I ha
But, Caden and I had a great time; Caden got to play with his cousins who he grew very close to. And also grasps more of his aunts and uncles and grandma and grandpa. He got to know them better on a more personal level and connect with them, it was great to see! I had a great time hanging out with my sisters and brother and parents! I got a ton of scrapbooking done and shopped like a pro, utah is the scrapbooking haven, love it! I got a bunch of girls nights in! And probably put on 5lbs from all the good eateries out there. But, overall great time!
My sister Jenn got married to a great guy named Chris who I just met. There wedding was beautiful, it was so fun to be in the sealing with them.
It was a pretty windy chilly day so pics with the kids weren’t all that fun, but we survived they survived and did great running around like little maniacs living off cake.
As usual we did our sister lip sync/dance and it was great! We danced to Aretha Franklin "Natural Woman" and Chris blushed the brightest shade of red I have ever seen. But I have to say weddings=drama. Not a ton, but enough to stress for a couple minutes, let's just say I love Albertson's! And you should too!
We had a great time, we're so grateful to be a part of Jenn and Chris's special day. Chris is great addition to our family and I think will fit in perfectly!

That's righte, we're heading to Utah(did I even have to tell you where were going, I think everyone knows where all the weddings are) my sister Jenn is marrying this guy named Chris, I don't know him, but have heard many good things. We will see how all goes. I will be back in awhile with pics and great stories I am sure, so wait by your computers and anxiously pace back and forth for my next blog.

Fix it
Caden asks a lot for me to fix things, and sometimes he can do it and other times I'll fix whatever task it is. Well, lately after giving him a bath and drying him off, he shoves his hands in my face and says "fix it?" and I dumbfounded so I say "fix what" and then he starts waving his hands impatiantly, like I know what he's talking about but purposely not doing it to make him mad(and no I'm not). So, after much babbling back and forth I realize he's bothered by the fact his hands are so pruney(as i would like to say.) He thinks there is something wrong with them, so he wants me to make the wrinkles go away. It is too funny the genuine frustration and concern he has over his pruney hands.

Who Was In The Cage... Us or Them?
Well, with Eric having a day off of work and that being a rarity. We decided to take full advantage of it. So, we went on a Animal Safari! It was interesting, scary, exciting, smelly at times but overall a rockin good time. I saw a couple signs saying "Enter Park at your own risk" that did not give me warm fuzzies, but Eric just said to blow it off.
We first had to decide do we rent a zebra van or take our car and they say(you take your car on your own risk, we will not cover any damage). So we got the sweet zebra van. A little about the van, it had no windows, that's right, just bars! It was a white van with black stripes someone used cheap spray paint to put on. The windows were covered in old slobber and dirt. The windshield was cracked too. Oh, wait there is two for those up front, but Caden and I were in the back. The van made us the caged animals in a cage full of animals. Eric kept saying it was like Jurassic Park and hoped we would have to walk out after the animals flipped the van.
So, we took off and immediately entering the park we were swarmed, Caden instantly clung to me and I tried to show Caden I wasn't freaking out because there was Deer, goats, ostrich's swarming us(and to note, they say not to pet the zebra, horse's and birds because they will peck or bite-AWESOME). So eric threw some food and after getting them all to move we continued on. Anytime an ostrich came by it scared the crap out of me they are the only one's that could probably reach in far enough to get us, the rest couldn't probably fit more then there mouths through the bars. So, Caden was warming up when we saw pigs running around(so cute, it just ignited the fire of my love for them again), ducks, buffalo, cows, bulls, deer, zebra, ostrich, and in cages lions, rhino's. It was quite the long drive but we enjoyed immensely and caden got used to the idea saying we were feeding the animals a "snack" and he kept pointing at them and said "cracker" he only fed the pigs and ducks. And he thought the deer were "cute".
After our drive we went back to get some lunch and needless to say, i thought that you couldn't make bad pizza well that is not true, horrible is all i have to say. Then there was a little zoo, with peacocks, bunnies, chickens running wild and in cages, bears, monkeys, lions, ligers, cheetah. Caden tried to chase a bunny with Eric, but the bunny was too smart and fast. I felt bad for a leopard in a small cage. A group of parents allowed their children to scream at the top of their lungs at it. I felt so bad because when we went up to the cage the leopard was pacing and making sad sounds. He probably just wanted to rest and be content in his cage, but those parents and their kids got him nervous and scared. Poor leopard. Caden thoroughly enjoyed this park, is getting to such a fun age, he just understands so much more. He loved seeing all the animals!

We've finally done it....
And that is go on a date. It has been TOO long(nov). So we found a great babysitter and hit the town. We went and got some delicious Thai food, yum, yum at the Thai House. And then we drove like crazy to get to our theatre(because I love previews) well, we went to the wrong theatre, so we had to book it to the other one, and yes I made Eric I run, what can i say I LOVE previews. Well, we made it to Juno just in time before it started, no previews but hey we didn't miss any of it. Eric and I agree- great movie! Made me cry, but what doesn't these days? And then we came home, doesn't sound very eventful, but we had a GREAT time just being the two of us, much needed and much appreciated. Yeah to date nights!

The Big Heart Day
You know I think Valentine's is like Christmas, everyone is rushing to buy flowers, candies etc. And I think why just on this day everyone rush's to be romantic. Why not through out the year? But, me personally I'd rather my husband wait til August, and randomly surprise me with a nice card or flowers. Sorry, done ranting.
Our valentine's day was nice. Caden and made a giant heart cookie for Eric (a long-time slaughter tradition) and we decorated way too much, but that's half the fun.
Eric got off at 5:30, I know we we're shocked too. We exchanged letters. Tears immediately is all I have to say. My husband is the most romantic person alive, just a tease of his romance, the first line:
Dear Tabitha,
You are most certainly and unequivocally the love of my life.
I will keep the rest private but how great is he? Love, love, love him. I'm such a lucky gal.
Overall pretty darn good day.

This is her day, let er' Shine
Today is not only the day for lovers and children.
It is the day our Carrie came into the world, hence the Carrie Valentine Fuller. Yup, that's right Carrie is now turning one year older and I'm sure this year will be her most exciting, it seems to be that way with her, it's like she has a competition with herself, to make each year more rocking then the last. I think she's off to a pretty good start, Van Halen!
So, Happy Birthday Carrie! We wish we were there to be with you to celebrate this special day!

L is for the way you look at me

For some odd reason I am super jazzed about the upcoming Valentine's day. Normally I think Valentine's day and new year's eve are the worst! If your curious I'll tell you why. It's all built up to be the funnest night ever or most romantic day ever. And most of the time it's not.
Well, this year I'm excited, we don't have anything planned, probably just hang out at home, order in food and some yummy chocolate covered strawberries! yum! yum!
Maybe I'm just anxious to finally have my husband home for more then an hour. And this year we are also implementing a new rule, instead of trying to find a gift for eachother and wasting money, our new thing is to write letters to eachother, sweet, huh? Feel free to copy our idea:)
