Well, with Eric having a day off of work and that being a rarity. We decided to take full advantage of it. So, we went on a Animal Safari! It was interesting, scary, exciting, smelly at times but overall a rockin good time. I saw a couple signs saying "Enter Park at your own risk" that did not give me warm fuzzies, but Eric just said to blow it off.
We first had to decide do we rent a zebra van or take our car and they say(you take your car on your own risk, we will not cover any damage). So we got the sweet zebra van. A little about the van, it had no windows, that's right, just bars! It was a white van with black stripes someone used cheap spray paint to put on. The windows were covered in old slobber and dirt. The windshield was cracked too. Oh, wait there is two for those up front, but Caden and I were in the back. The van made us the caged animals in a cage full of animals. Eric kept saying it was like Jurassic Park and hoped we would have to walk out after the animals flipped the van.
So, we took off and immediately entering the park we were swarmed, Caden instantly clung to me and I tried to show Caden I wasn't freaking out because there was Deer, goats, ostrich's swarming us(and to note, they say not to pet the zebra, horse's and birds because they will peck or bite-AWESOME). So eric threw some food and after getting them all to move we continued on. Anytime an ostrich came by it scared the crap out of me they are the only one's that could probably reach in far enough to get us, the rest couldn't probably fit more then there mouths through the bars. So, Caden was warming up when we saw pigs running around(so cute, it just ignited the fire of my love for them again), ducks, buffalo, cows, bulls, deer, zebra, ostrich, and in cages lions, rhino's. It was quite the long drive but we enjoyed immensely and caden got used to the idea saying we were feeding the animals a "snack" and he kept pointing at them and said "cracker" he only fed the pigs and ducks. And he thought the deer were "cute".
After our drive we went back to get some lunch and needless to say, i thought that you couldn't make bad pizza well that is not true, horrible is all i have to say. Then there was a little zoo, with peacocks, bunnies, chickens running wild and in cages, bears, monkeys, lions, ligers, cheetah. Caden tried to chase a bunny with Eric, but the bunny was too smart and fast. I felt bad for a leopard in a small cage. A group of parents allowed their children to scream at the top of their lungs at it. I felt so bad because when we went up to the cage the leopard was pacing and making sad sounds. He probably just wanted to rest and be content in his cage, but those parents and their kids got him nervous and scared. Poor leopard. Caden thoroughly enjoyed this park, is getting to such a fun age, he just understands so much more. He loved seeing all the animals!

That bear just seems way way too close for comfort.
That looks like SO much fun! If I come down near there, I want to go-and definitely in the VAN!
