Ever since Caden was 9 months old we've noticed his eye's wander. He went to Walter Reed in DC and the monitored it. When we moved to Georgia the Opthamologist was a jerk and said come back when he can read the eye chart and knows his letters to do so. We took upon ourselves to patch his eye after researching online. When we moved to Utah we found a great opthamologist at Primary Children's Hospital. First he suggested glasses which helped but when he wasn't wearing glasses it got worse as you can see from the right picture. Then they suggested patching with glasses everyday. As you can see from the pictures he did not enjoy it.

Well after months of patching they decided it was time to do surgery where they tighten the muscle to his eye. I was a nervous wreck about this surgery too much tightening and it'd wander in not enough and it still wanders out. Not to mention surgery people.
<---This his him pre-op.They have x-box's and all the games you could--> imagine. He was in heaven and wasn't even nervous. Also since he was the oldest he was scheduled last. He didn't eat all day and he didn't go into surgery til almost 3pm.
Him waking up it was so sad. He was really out of it. When they wanted him to open his eyes he screamed and cried. I felt awful. He eventually felt okay to go home on our 10 minute drive home he fell asleep holding his barf bag. Once we got home he perked up at 4 pieces of toast and a bowl of cereal.
All in all surgery was a success the worst part was the eye drops twice day he freaked with those everyday. I think the surgery corrected it significantly but it still wanders a little. We're pretty happy about it though.

I am glad you put pictures up from the beginning until now. Amazing. He looks awesome but I think he is so cute with glasses.
