Halloween

The Heismen trophy goes to....Caden Slaughter. Okay that was cheesy but we had to do the pose.

Halloween Night had come and so did the rain(two years in a row but two different states-poopy luck). We braved the cold rain and got us some Candy.

Last chance for Halloween Pictures.

We didnt force Macey to dress up because it was so cold.

Here they are at our Ward Trunk-or-Treat Night. Macey was the cutest Kitty. I told she had to walk by Halloween or her costume just wouldnt be as great. She took it as a challenge and rocked it.

Impossible to get the both of them looking, but they are cute none the less.

Football pose's are a must.

It ended snowing/raining so we did it inside. Caden had a great time and Macey just wondered around looking for Candy to hold onto.

Cornbellys Pumpkin Patch

On a whim we decided to go to Cornbelly's Pumpkin Patch. It was such a great day.
They had these huge pillows you could jump on. Caden had a blast!

Seriously giant pillows. I was half tempted to try it out myself.

You give Macey a slide and she is a girl in Heaven.

When did she get to be so big?

Water Pumping station. You could race the ducks. Macey just walked back and forth trying to grab one before the big kids did.

Seriously as good as it gets with these two, but I love them both eventhough they wont give me a good picture of the both of them.

The had a cow train and we decided Macey was big enough. Great decsion. She loved, perfect speed and she just smiled and just said waved the whole time.

Caden thought it was cool too. Obvious right?

The Cow Train

I took a picture of the driver to tell you the story. I said to caden "that guy looks familar, who do you think he is?" he smiles and says "santa" I said "I think he is, I bet he just came down here to make sure you kids are being good." He was smiling ear to ear. The driver heard and said "Do you know my favorite song?" and then he said "Dashing through the snow" And he said "do you know what I drive when I'm not driving a Tractor? Reindeer. " Caden's jaw literally dropped. Seriously he was in shock and so excited.

Dont you just want to squeeze this face?

Farmer Caden.

Rolling pin Slide

There was so much more I didnt take pictures of. Fun was had by all. We did a corn maze which turns out with two kids, it feels more like being stuck in traffic with no map. Maybe we"ll try again next time.

Halloween Party

My Hawkeye Football player. So cute, I mean scary.

All the kiddos dressed in there halloween best.

My good friend Christy and her sweet little girl Callie

The kids made halloween necklaces, Played Halloween Bingo and decorated Cookies. And then played like crazy. It went well and was a lot of fun to do but I was so busy with it all I hardly got any pictures of it all. I should of Eric had that detail. Oh well hindsight.

A little of this and a little of that

With October here...finally. We have set up the halloween decorations. Talked about the pumpkin patch's we will be going to. And planning costumes etc.

Going through the old costume box and found this bad boy. Of course Macey was more then happy to model and wear it.

She is such a hardcore rocker.

Put Macey in the baby stroller and they both had a blast. Didnt need to fasten Macey in she was stuck in it.

Random Caden

Caden went on a feild trip with his class to Wheeler Farm and had a blast looking at all the farm animals.

This is Caden with his really good friend Kaydence. Not a very good pic and her sister is on the Left of Caden.

Caden has now reached the idolizing dad faze. And He loves football. Seriously thats what he wants to be for halloween and has been begging me for months to sign him up. But they dont til they are 8. So one day he says" Mom, let's pertend I'm 8 today and sign me up for football". Another day I was telling Eric something and I said "it doesnt make sense" And Caden says I know what makes sense playing football".

He knows all about touchdowns. Running back, quarterback, defense, fumble, nfl teams, stiff arm block etc.

He's a great Running Back

He's going....

And it's a TOUCHDOWN

He sure is funny. He loves Halloween but is deathly terrified of some things and will hide. I hope next year he's not so scared.
