Our friends moved and we're getting rid of there tiny pool, so we got it.
Caden enjoys it.
He asks me to join him but to be honest I dont see any room in there for Me and the C.

This pregnancy has been pretty darn good. I'm over the sickness and feeling pretty good. Pregnancy is so much easier when you stay at home. Here are some pictures that would describe this pregnancy so far:

He's growing up....

that is Eric of course. This past week was his birthday and boy do we know how to go crazy!! Seriously it wasn't too exciting, but he had some time off work, his favorite dinner(spaghetti-yuck) and a little cake. I think overall, it was a pretty good birthday.

Generosity

We have so many dear friends in our life.

We just received this darling blanket and hat from a great friend of mine from high school(Belinda). She made it herself and it is just beautiful!!

 

I also have received a TON of clothes from another dear friend(Erin) who's youngest has out grown them. It amazes me how giving some can be and she is one that will never stop and I am so appreciative of her.
This littel girl(whatever her name be) is a very lucky and blessed girl.

I'm so ashamed of myself

 

I really really really don't like short hair on boys very much, I mean to each mothers choice some look really cute and some don't. And I think they'll have short hair the rest of there life why not keep it long when there young and sweet. Once again talking of my own son, I feel strong about this. And I love my sons long hair especially because he has these GREAT curls but only when hes drenching with sweat which sadly is a lot. But today the hormones go the best of me and I had to cut it, even though yesterday vowing I never would. See the hormones. ....I cut it so short I didn't know what happened til it was done and now it makes me sad to look at my cute little man with SHORT HAIR. Ah!

Antsy

Oh my goodnesss! Aren't these the cutest things you have ever seen? AH!
Baby Lucy/Annabelle/Mable/Twila/Amelia will have some! Ah, can't wait!!



A great friend of mine from VA gave us this rocking chair and I covered the padding on the rocking chair and made buttons for it. I like how it turned out.
I'm feeling very nesty I think with Caden's pregnancy I was so busy and this time I have more time at home, that I am super antsy, to the crazy point Im ready to put up the crib. Hello, I'm only 24 weeks.

The Slaughter's came to town

Eric's parents came to town this past weekend. We had a quite a nice weekend. Here are the pics:

April showers bring....

April has been good to us.

Eric's privates just graduated so Eric is now off cycle which means he will be home all the time. YEAH!




Me and baby are doing good, feeling good. Had ultrasound, baby looks really good, measuring right on. We are so grateful!



Caden has just been silly Caden we had a great Spring Break hanging out with all our friends. We have made really good friends with people here and our kids get along great. So we have been getting together with them, going on lunch dates, having them over here to play, making cookies with them. We are truly grateful for them.

Easter

This was Caden receiving his Easter Basket, he was very excited. He got an awesome book and some Wonder Pets Fruit Snacks and some eggs filled with his favorite yummy candy.

Our friends from our ward invited us to house for an Easter Egg Hunt and dessert. Our friends have two motorcycles and they offered to let Eric drive one, which made me incredibly nervous. Eric is not the most cautious person. But it was a spyder 3 wheel one, so he did okay. I just wish I would have gotten a picture of him with the helmet on he had the biggest smile ever!
The kids had a great time finding the eggs and eating all the candy. They jumped on the trampoline, chased eachother. It was a really nice evening!

Callway Easter "Egg" Hunt

We went with a family from our church (The Hermann's) to Callaway Gardens Easter Egg Hunt. We had a picnic by the lake and it was really nice. We were a little surprised that the eggs were just these marshmallow things, not plastic eggs. But it's okay the kids had a blast!




To get Caden to go to the Easter Bunny I told him that the Easter Bunny was 'ticklish' so he giggled and went over to him.

Playing at the Lake. Caden did so much better then the last time we were in Florida. He jumped right into the sand and got in the water with the kids. Afterwards we went and played the putt putt golf, it was a beautiful day with great friends. We were all pooped afterwards.
