April showers bring....
April has been good to us.
Eric's privates just graduated so Eric is now off cycle which means he will be home all the time. YEAH!
Me and baby are doing good, feeling good. Had ultrasound, baby looks really good, measuring right on. We are so grateful!
Caden has just been silly Caden we had a great Spring Break hanging out with all our friends. We have made really good friends with people here and our kids get along great. So we have been getting together with them, going on lunch dates, having them over here to play, making cookies with them. We are truly grateful for them.
Here is Caden rockin' the pledge of allegiance:

And the end of this week the inlaws are coming down here to have a blast with us!

Easter
This was Caden receiving his Easter Basket, he was very excited. He got an awesome book and some Wonder Pets Fruit Snacks and some eggs filled with his favorite yummy candy.
Caden all studly in his new threads provided by his Nanny!
Our friends from our ward invited us to house for an Easter Egg Hunt and dessert. Our friends have two motorcycles and they offered to let Eric drive one, which made me incredibly nervous. Eric is not the most cautious person. But it was a spyder 3 wheel one, so he did okay. I just wish I would have gotten a picture of him with the helmet on he had the biggest smile ever!
The kids had a great time finding the eggs and eating all the candy. They jumped on the trampoline, chased eachother. It was a really nice evening!
Caden's friend Cedar
Cedars little bro, that Caden loves!
Caden dirty and tired
Joe trying to terrorize Caden, too funny!
All the kids having a blast on the trampoline!

Callway Easter "Egg" Hunt
We went with a family from our church (The Hermann's) to Callaway Gardens Easter Egg Hunt. We had a picnic by the lake and it was really nice. We were a little surprised that the eggs were just these marshmallow things, not plastic eggs. But it's okay the kids had a blast!
To get Caden to go to the Easter Bunny I told him that the Easter Bunny was 'ticklish' so he giggled and went over to him.
Yeah, to Easter Egg Hunts!
So cute!
The "loot"
Playing at the Lake. Caden did so much better then the last time we were in Florida. He jumped right into the sand and got in the water with the kids. Afterwards we went and played the putt putt golf, it was a beautiful day with great friends. We were all pooped afterwards.

20 Weeks and A Wake-Up

This is me with Caden-19wks
A)smooth pre-pregnant skin, those were the bikini days
B)I know I'm in a sports bra, I wasn't thinking.
Here I am in my glory of 20 weeks.
I got to say this little girl inside loves, me I'm still down 6lbs and loving it! And I'm at the point of feeling great and feeling her move around a ton!
I'm super nesty this time, currently working on the nursery, pics to come!
We still dont have a name but since I appreciate every single one of you I'll tell you what we have so far, but we are always up for suggestions
my only requirements(doesn't have to be all of them, just one):
a older name, classic ya know? Go dig through your genealogy
a simple name, slaughter is kind of a mouthful
and NOT a name from Eric and I's generation, you know Lindsay, Ashley etc. (No offense to any lindsay's or Ashley's out there)
So, what we have so far is
Lucy
Emmaline(Emmy)
Annabelle
Your thoughts??

God fearing Southerners
So, there is a LOT of church's in Columbus, mainly baptist but a good variety. So, when driving around town Eric and I love reading the church billboards outside the church. And since moving to this house, we live near this great church that has the best sayings we've seen:
Try God, if you don't like him. Satan will always take you back.
-God
What if you don't believe in me and you're wrong?
-God
And this one is from a church by our church but I actually liked it a lot:
Choice is the Authority to do Right

Scratch the last post
I'm going a whole different direction. I liked the last set but wasn't in love with it. So.... went to local fabric store and was inspired AWWWWW. I will be using a bunch of different fabrics to cover the last set and this is some of what I'll be using...

there is more that goes with it but you get the idea of where I'm going with it. i feel like this might be my only shot at a girl room so I want to make it somthing I love.

This is our awesome bassinet that I scored for $10 at the consignment sale, and it vibrates. Fun, huh?
Here is the crib set I bought.Super cute but I don't know what to do for the rest of the room if I could find a picture of the nursery from Pottery Barn all done. So, i need input, thoughts on:
Curtains
sheets
Wall Decor
And anything else
The pink checkered/gingham is the bed skirt.

Studly Man and such
This is Caden before church I bought him a tie at the big Consignment sale. First one ever, kind of sad and he's 3. But I think he's looks adorable and surprisingly he didn't mind it.
What do you think? Does he look like Eric or me??
There is an awesome bush out front that makes these beautiful flowers, I don't know the name but I think they're gorgeous!

Macon, GA
We decided to venture out for the day and head to Macon for the Cherry Blossom festival. It was a nice drive, beautiful scenery.
Cherry Blossom Farms on the way to Macon.
There was supposed to be Lawn Mower Races, Bed Races, Sea lion Show, Snake Show, eateries etc. But to be honest, the blossoms weren't bloomed yet, a little disappointing but understandable it was the beginning of the festival and that can't tell you exactly what day. And I felt like the festival was more of just a big Carnival. So, we didn't stay very long.
But, overall nice drive, Macon was pretty cute.

We're there...
Caden is officially into super heros:
Spiderman
Batman
Superman
it's so funny he flies around the house with his arms stretched out, flying like Superman.
and then he'll come to me and say "I'm Batman and mommy your Joker"
He's figured out how to shape his fingers/hands to look like spiderman shooting out a web. So funny!
This is C doing his Spiderman pose!
Once I'm done with the Craziness of March, I'm going to make Caden a Superman and Batman Cape!
I love how his imagination is getting so active.
And to end on funny note yesterday I said "You're so goofy" and Caden replies by saying "I'm not Goofy, I'm Mickey Mouse"
