Face Plant

So, yesterday as I was waiting to get our car jumped, Caden was playing in our driveway. And smack, Caden face planted mouth open and all. Well, I did my best to clean him off. He bled and cried but surprisingly lived through it. I think he'll have some sweet battle scars though.

Last blog of utah

Well, my camera battery died too early into my trip. So, I didn't get half the pics I wanted and I forgot to bring the charger. So, I won't get to show you the rest of my excellent times in utah. I went up to syracuse to spend a couple days with my sis em and her husband mick and there two kids. It was a great time getting to hang out with them, they are a wondeful bunch. I didn't get good pictures of all them cause my camera died at there house. But, overall Utah was a blast, I loved hanging with my parents, Mel and Jas, Jenn, and Bruce. And not to mention my wonderful grandma who I have not seen since I was 6 months preggers. She is a great woman, who I respect tremendously. Thanks for all those who put up with cade and I.

Jungle Jim's part 2

These are just more pics, I couln't narrow them down. I know I'm pathetic

Jungle Jim's

So there is this secret place for young kids called Jungle Jims. I couldn't tell you what city it was in but it's basically a mini amusement park for little kids. Well, Caden, Chase and Paige loved it. of course Chase and Paige are veteren's to this place and the rollar coaster didn't phase either of them like it did Caden. But, they all had a good time. Caden loved the Carousel. Very Exciting!

Park City Half Marathon

So, in preperation for our marathon in dc in october I decided to try out a half. Well, I did the park city half marathon. It was a beautifully scenic trail, a lot of gravel. Not my favorite. The first 6.5 miles were up-hill a little tough, slowed me down but I pushed through. Jenn was my super supporter and came with me. I appreciate her willingness to do so and it meant a ton to me. A fun race but I think next half will be a different course.

Utah- Mel's Birthday

Well, Caden and I have been traveling fools this summer, first IA(will post pictures later) and we have been in Utah this past month. And it has been a wonderful month. We both enjoyed very much seeing the family and Caden loved playing with Chase, paige, brady and cameron. Mel and I scrapbooked a ton. I did hair. Ran a half marathon, absess tooth, kidney stone and caught up with old friends. And Caden learned to talk a ton. So many ups and downs. Stay tuned for more.

4th of July

Well, we had our last 4th of July here in our Nation's Capital. We started our celebrations on July 3 at the lawn of the capitol we went to the dress rehersal and saw Tony Danza, Dierks Bently and that's about it. Then July 4th was busy, chaotic, but always so exciting. We got to sleep in then we went to the National 4th of July Parade. Which was an eventful parade, we got to see the out-spoken side of Carrie. Fun, fun! Then we went home chilled for a bit. Went to our neighbors for a BBQ. Then it stared to rain, no down pour on washington. They evacuated the mall-suckers! Then when the rain stopped and tornado warning was done. We went to Iwo Jima for fire works, Caden was a show stopper like normal. Caden was amazed by the Fireworks! And we headed home to bed. Great day but long!

Crazy Hair!

Caden has the craziest hair after a bath. So, we thought we would share with you.

Gettysburg!

Well, we decided to take a little adventure and head to Gettysburg, PA. It was a short 1 1/2 hr drive. We got there and it was a big open field with statues and canon's everywhere. Luckliy for Caden and my sake it wasn't too hot. So, we let Carrie and Eric do there history tourist thing and followed them around. After we saw all the goods of gettysburg we had a little picnic, which was nice. And headed home, on the way back we HAD to stop at the MA and PA stores which are faboulously delicous. And Eric had to get some illegal fire works. All in all nice day.

Cars

In case you were wondering what Caden is obsessed with, here it is. CARS! It's looks like I stage this photo but I didn't he loves getting his cars and piling them all together and then claps and says "yeah". That's been our entertainment today, it's so painfully hot outside I don't want to go anywhere. But later I'm taking a friend to the airport and then we're having the Elders over for Hamburgers on the grill, yummy! Hopefullly it cools down by this evening. Have a great hump day!

Pretty Feet

Well, today was eventful. We hung, we ate, we attempted to run(just wasn't feelin' it). I thought I would share what entertain's me on a daily basis and that is Caden's feet. He's got a rockin' tan on his feet that is attributed to us running. So, if you want to be like us which I know you do, take your kid running, leave the sandals on for as long as humanly possible and voila. There you go.

Today was a doozy...

So, this morning we thought we would take advantage of our lovely backyard, and we were sitting nice and peacefully. While Caden on the other hand was a busy beaver. He was trying to walk down a cement step and lost his balance and slap, his face met the pavement. Needless to say he recovered quickly and is back to normal. But, I thought this is blog worthy Caden's first big face plant!

To run or not to run??

Well, today we were supposed to run 10 miles, I was dressed, Eric came home and we sat there and said "you know in ga we might not have these saturdays, lets go play" So we got dressed, went to the farmers market, got some delicious white cherries for a steal! Went to grocery store for wonderful dinner ingredients(we are having grilled salmon with strawberry poppyseed salad). And now the two boys are taking a nap! It's been wonderful! WEll, that's it for now.

White House Easter Egg Roll

Well, after our delicous Easter meal. Monday we got a wonderful call from our neighbor Tina who had tickets to the White House Easter Egg Roll. Let it be known these tickets are a hot commodity, We've known people who waited all night and still didn't get tickets. So, at least to say, we were ecstatic. So, we got there and it was amazing. They had a magic show, reading area, face painting, coloring, egg hunt, egg roll, performance stage, egg coloring and then characters everywhere. What a blast, we also scored they said this is the first time in 4 years it has not rained. Yeah! So, needless to say Caden has a wonderful time, maybe would have been better in a couple of years, but none the less once in a lifetime opportunity.

Here is our Life!

Well, I thought if you want a snip-it of our life, here it is. And if your that bored/interested you'll keep following it.

Eric: Is currently in school till May and then back to Army life. In August he will go to Ft. Jackson for Drill Sergeant School. His dream of being just like the pro-wrestler is finally coming true!

Tabitha: Still hanging with the Cade-man at home, trying to entertain herself and not get too bored. My latest hobbies, are sewing, running and going to the park with Caden

Caden: Is learning new words everyday, "No" is his favorite but "no more", "Uh-oh", and "peek-a-book". He's learning more each day, some more clear then others. And he's finally learned how to dance, he's trying to shake it like his mommy does. He'll bop his head and bounce side to side, too funny! He just finished his swim class and graduated with flying colors. And in two weeks will be starting tumbling gymnastics class. YEAH!

Since Eric is going back to school we are trying to take advantage of our time off, and are heading to NYC this next week and are trying to see a bunch of other places, but we'll keep you posted.
