Jesus wants me for a SUNBEAM
So in our church, the children go to nursery at 18 months to 3 and then they graduate into the next class, where they go and sing songs and go to sharing time with the other big kids. And the class is called "Sunbeams". They switch class's every January instead of the middle of the year like school, so each year he'll move to a different class but with the same kids.
This is Caden's first Sunday as a Sunbeam!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
Well. things are changing around here. We have Duke again, turns out the people we gave him to turned out not to be the best dog owners ever. So, here he is back in our life and to be honest it's a good thing, we missed him. And our glad to have him in our home!
And now that we are moving(still in Columbus) to a house. YEAH! I'm so excited, and ready to let my dog play in his yard and my son jump up and down and not fear of the neighbors getting angry at us. So, as of the end of this month we will be in a house, with a drive way, our own trash can, a yard, walls I can paint, a home we can run around in. HEAVEN!
And as an added bonus a video of the The Duke and Caden playing. Background Duke just recently realized caden exists, so this was very exciting to us and especially Caden.

Sledding+Eric=Heart attack for me
Well, while we were in Utah we did a lot of hanging out, holiday baking, girls nights out, guys nights outs. And on Christmas Eve we decided to take part in all of the fresh snow and go sledding.
So, we went and it was frigidly cold and crazy windy, like Iowa windy but we forged ahead. This park had all kinds of hills, massive ones and smaller ones for the little ones. We all took turns on the different hills with our different sleds, it was quite cold so Caden wasn't loving it as much as the time we went down Mels driveway. Getting to Eric he decides to go to the very top of the hill(with the worst sled, doest steer, most crash-myself included) so he goes and in the middle of this hill is a ramp. He goes flying down the hill, flies in the air, and lands on his neck and head=Awesome! He has not clue of what happened, we think he had a concussion. Good times! He wanted to go back but that's not happening.

We're back
After a two week vacation in snowy Utah we are back and made it home safely. Our New Year's Eve night of travel was ridiculous on every level. If something could have gone wrong it did. But we are back in the GA safe and sound. I have so much to update on but need the pics so that will come soon.
But today I have a great story to tell you about my husband....well three mini-one's with one great big one that has the morale of the story.
Back in VA Eric was doing CQ(he has to stay on post at a desk for 24hrs) and he asked me to bring some of his movies and so I did. Well as we were leaving he put them on top ot the Jeep(good days) so he could load Caden. We said goodbye and left. Well, a minute later I hear this sliding noise on top of car. Of course I didn't know the DVDS were on top until minutes later I was driving back looking for them, he lost probably about 2 out of 6.
Fast forward to last summer he had just graduated Drill Sergeant School and we were leaving the ceremony at Ft. Jackson, SC. So he had this super important envelope of papers, he pointed that out to me. Well, once again he loaded Caden put the envelope on top of the trailblazer and we were off, minutes later looking for important packet we head back not realizing where he put it. Turns out one of the Senior Instructors of the Drill Sergeant school had found the super important envelope on the road, yikes!
And now today. We are starving, tired and in need of some food. He asked me before he left where his car keys were, I had no clue. So we were off. I was driving down the interstate when all the sudden you hear, something sliding on top of the car and then Eric see's his keys slide off our vehicle onto the highway. YES! So, I pull over and he has to walk quite a bit back to find his keys. The trailblazer key was bent and our mail key jammed up and the car remote entirely gone. YIKES!
So, moral of the story if Eric has ever lost anything look on top of the nearest car and you will find it.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! Stay tuned for great stories and awesome pics.
