The last time I held Caden sleeping was when he was probably 6 or 7 months old-tear!
This people is an amazing sight. Caden was so tired yesterday from not taking a nap that after a breakdown/tantrum, he came to me after his bath and just sat there letting me hold him, rariety.
Well, he stayed there for awhile, and then I had Eric look and he was passed out. So precious, all naked in his towel snuggling with his mommy. By far the best part of being a Mom, these moments!

So fortunate
We had the best oppourtunity to go to a Marriage Retreat aka best free vacation ever. And for those that think like my sister Jenn no it's not counseling, it's retreat that the Army sets up for married couples to attend seminars on communicating etc. They said they're goal for this weekend was to have us spend as much quality alone time together as we can. And we did! And it was awesome!
Here are the many reasons why our weekend rocked:
1)They put us up in a sweet Resort-that's right a resort, free food and all!
2) They hired a Nanny company to to tend to the children, and these we're some awesome ladies-Caden had a blast!
3)People Florida is only 3 hours from us, how awesome is that?
4)Gulf of Mexico-UHHH, have you seen it? White sand, blue/greenish water you can see straight through=BEAUTIFUL
5) The 6 hours of free time we had, yes we did do what your thinking....we rented a waverunner and rode it all over, and saw dolphins swim all around us, we rode until we couldnt keep our eyes open anymore(next time, wear sunglasses, saltwater+eyes=PAIN
6)Sexual Intimicay video-no, not showing you sex sicko! But a comedian/pastor talking basically if your nice to your wife you go to the happy spot, simple stuff but hillarious! Here's the best line....having sex with a condom on is like eating ice cream with a sock on your tongue, haha, sorry if that was too much!
7)Taking Caden for the first time ever to the beach! He liked it...after he got over the sand. I was trying to teach him that you jump over the waves(because that's the really fun game you do when at the beach as a kid, trust me, loads of experience) So back to teaching him and then all the sudden, a huge jellyfish, I know a real life one, scary but very interesting and squishy looking.
Now for overload of pics, sorry for about the color of them it was just so bright and white there. And you'll notice Caden is not looking at one single pic, we tried but he wouldnt take his eyes off the water! Obviously he loved it as much as we did!
All in all a wonderful weekend, by far the best thing the military has to offer. And trust me we will be going back every opportunity we get!

I just can't do it
I am horrible at making grill cheese.
I know such a simple task and yet I just can't.
I just cant commit to standing there and doing it.
Probably for everything 3 I do I burn 2 and of course the C won't eat the black ones.
boo! That's why I'll stick with PB&J from now on.

Randomness
Caden: "Mommy the bridge" Watching a horribly boring Thomas the Train DVD
Me: "That's great a bridge"
Caden: "Yeah, a bridge"
ME: So, taken a back he responded with yeah, I said "I love you"
Caden: "I love the bridge"

Tigers, Acrobats, and Elaphents
Shriner's Circus was going on so we thought we would take Caden. We were'nt sure what he would think of it all.
Let me back up, so the day was going pretty good, I went to a little quilting thing(long story) and then decided to come home and color my hair before the circus.
Well since its time to go dark I needed to use permanent....well while I it was processing I didnt realize it was resting on my face. I went to go look at it and I moved my hair off my face and started to rub profously, over and over again, because normally color removes color-weird I know but it does. WEll, I started to freak because it was all over my face, cheeks, forhead, so I told Eric to google how to remove it(that's what your supposed to do in time of need, google it). He said A)toothpaste B)anti-bacterial soap..
Okay Antibacterial soap didnt do much, but holy crap! Toothpaste BURNT, I mean BURNT I was screaming it felt like my flesh was burning right off, and I'm not even exaggereating. So, I had to rinse because it was getting close to us having to leave. So yes I had to the circus with half my face stained black=AWESOME!
Anyways, the circus. It was good! The tiger beastman who "controlled the TIgers" was amazing! He was dancing around to cheesy rock music and then to the TITANIC song! No joke!
A lot of acrobats, jugglers, and kinda corny clowns.
AFter 2HOURS they had intermission, Eric was ready to jet but I was holding strong for the Elephant, so finally the Elephant came and he pooped and peed everywhere, walked around for about a minute and then he was done-but his chubby train did have a rockin' one pice leotard on!
I thinks Cadens favorite part was when they turned off all the lights and all the kids held up there little cheesy light up swords and stars.
Overall-ehhh, I dont know if we'll go back again

Long overdue
A couple weeks ago we went to Callaway Gardens and had a blast!
We've never been because we always thought it was super expensive, but they love the military there and give rockin' discounts! So, we headed there, rented some bikes(FOR FREE-go to love the military discount) and thought we would head up to the butterfly exhibit. I think the bike ride would have been really, really nice had it not been approaching ah 95 degrees. Bike+90 degress+denim jeans=DEATH! Note to self come back when its cooler!
Caden loves butterflys so this was heaven I think he said the word "Butterfly" about a million times.
It was actually quite cool, they flew all around you and one even landed on Caden's forehead=HILLARIOUS! He's loves them but not enough for them to land on him. Anyways, we rode around some more and figured we come back another day or another month when it wasn't so hot. But overall very pretty!

Believe it or not I'm TOTALLY excited
for some football! I know that's not really me, I didn't mind it in person but on TV for 4 hours is a little much. But for some odd reason this year I'm totally jazzed about it! It just gives me warm little fall fuzzies! Because I love the FALLL! I can't wait for it be here for the following reasons:
1)It gets chilly(kinda)
2)I get to wear my super cute fall clothes
3)Definitely going brown
4)Brach's Candy Corn-need I say more
5)Fall festivals-pumpkin patch's, mazes. Apple Cider
Mmmm, doesn't that just give you warm fall fuzzies?

The New Era=Big Boy Bed
AHHH! I know your thinking "What the crap is she flipping out over?" Oh, well let's see:
1-Caden now can get out whenever he darn well please's
2-Caden could never take a 3 hour nap again or our pretend naps(where he lays there and talks and I pretend he's sleeping=AWESOME!)
3-Caden will never take a nap again without it being torture!
I'm scared, so scared that today I told myself he slept in and didn't need a nap, so I didn't have to fight and see how it's going to be in the future.
But on a happy note, we finally get to use his adorable bedding and I can somewhat decorate his room, we are all really excited about that-okay just me!
I'm sure your all wondering why Tabitha, why couldn't you hold out any longer-trust me I tried. On Monday, he climbed/fell out, and then on Wednesday I heard him talking and thought I better go lay him back down, well I open the door and he's sitting at his little table playing trains. He got out without us hearing him. AHHHH!
So, we caved.

My new Obsession
.....FABRIC
I know what your thinking. WHAT? But, I'm currently looking for a fabric for curtains, not just any fabric, but a fabulous print! Something that will say "WOW" against our cream and white walls we will have forever! So I've been looking constantly high and low everywhere, I'm slowly but surely narrowing it down. Eric is so sick of it, he doesn't care anymore, god bless him! So, here is some great swatches(No, I'm not picking these, sorry) and great sites!

Pray
I have such a heavy heart. I can't say I keep up with current events a ton. But here and there. And I guess I just didn't realize how big of a threat hurricane Gustav. I mean obviously it's a threat in all but I thought it would turn into nothing and pass on by.
Well, i was driving yesterday and today I started to notice that the parking lot of two hotels, next to us were getting fuller and fuller. So as I was driving to the gym today I saw a sign for RED CROSS SHELTER. It took me back, here people our fleeting to here.
While at the gym I was listening to the news instead of my latest jams and I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had to fight the urge to stop and cry. It's so heartbreaking for these people, to leave and hope for the best and not know when and what they will go back to. So once I reached the hotels on my way home I decided to drive around and see if my suspicions were right, and they were. Car and after car. LOUISIANA plate. And a couple MISSOURI.
So I stopped and talked(I know I'm weird) to a couple people seeing how long they would be staying and if there was anything I could do. They declined saying that all of them are just glued to the TV hoping for the best.
So can you take a minute and say a prayer for these dear people?
