I love how easily excited Caden gets, on the other it's also amazing how quickly they go into break down mode.
He's talking so much now and doing so many things, i often wonder where do they come up with the things they do for instance, Great example. Everday after eric comes home he lays on the floor and caden attacks, he jumps, blows on eric's belly to make funny sounds, kiss's, rides em like a horse. Well, the other day he playing around with eric and lifts up his shirt to blow on his belly does it once and is satisfied well, he doesnt stop there, he lifts eric shirt up all the way grabs his nipple, pinch's it and goes "nipple". I about died laughing, A) where did he learn the word nipple B) the look on eric's face, like he had been violated. Hillarious and embarrasing all at the same time. Classic!

Gordon B. Hinckley
I must say when I heard of the passing of our dear prophet, my heart jumped a little and then was filled with joy. I'll tell you why, I have a grandma who is very dear to me and all that surround her, well several years ago, the love of her life passed away. It was sudden and painful and since then she has ached to be with him again. So, at this time of our prophet passing remember him and the marvelous work and sacrifice he has done for us. Be comforted to know that he is now reunited with his love for time and all eternity.

New Do
Well, after avoiding the unevidable, that is trusting someone besides my beloved Julie to cut my hair, so I took my chances and had Scott do it. Well, Scott didn't really want to listen to what I had to say. So, needless to say it's a tiny bit short. Different, but short. But, it's starting to grow on me and maybe in a couple weeks it will be perfect.

New fashion sense
Along with vanity our son has taken to a new fashions sense....let's say a little more southern. Forget polos, forget gap sweatshirts, this is what's in this winter!

I'm so pretty!
Caden loves the mirror. He runs around with it and screams at himself. I think we might have to work on some vanity issues here. I think Carly Simon wrote a song about him "Your so vain, your probably think this song is about you....

My Birthday
With the Holidays comes my birthday.....Yeah! Well, we had just gotten home the day prior to my birthday. And it was quite a lovely day, Eric worked part day then he came home we ordered pizza had lunch and watched a movie, went shopping for a bit, went and got some Delicious soup and bread bowls from Atlanta Bread(dare I say almost as good as panera). And just hung out, it quite relaxed but I enjoyed it so much.
So for pictures I told eric I wanted a picture of the two of us, but as many of you know my husband can not keep his eyes open for a second when it comes to taking a picture, I'm not exaggerating or being rude, we took 14 pictures. That's right and for the one his eyes are open in, well, you can see how that turned out. But, I love him.

Christmas in Iowa
Well, we headed home to freezing Iowa for Christmas. It was fun getting to everyone again and spending the holidays with them. Caden enjoyed the never ending attention. We got what we came for and that was family, fun and snow. That's right we love the cold and loved the snow. Especially on Christmas Eve when Larry, Eric and I were out shoveling for 2 hours, let it be known I did most of the work while they just sat around and watched. We attempted to take Caden sledding but we didn't' know what the weather was like til we got out there, let's just say when it's 12degrees and 40 mph wind, caden wasn't really in the sledding mood. Eric spent quality time with his brother Jon, going to amateur fights and so on. I had time to read three books which is always enjoyable and go into the art of jewelry making with connie and cookie baking with the cain, slaughter, house woman. Overall it was a very pleasant trip, nothing better then being with family at the holidays.
